Volunteer Enrollment

Steps to Enrollment- Volunteer Program

We are delighted that you would like to enroll at MAPS as a volunteer. If you have not already visited our campus and seen our center-based programs, you may want to request a tour. If you would like to get started on enrollment, these steps will clarify the process.

Step 1: Contact us- Contact our Intake Department to let them know that you would like to enroll as a volunteer.

Step 2: Volunteer Packet- To enroll, you must fill out and return the Volunteer Packet. You may fill this out online or visit our office to pick up a hard copy. Once we receive the completed packet, we can look at placement. If you need help or have questions, please let us know!  If you have questions, please contact Maureen Carter at maureenc@mapsautism.com

Step 3: Placement- Once we review the volunteer’s information, we will place them in an age-appropriate groups. We will consider their  interests and style when placing them in a group. If there is not an available age-appropriate group that fits their schedule, we will place them on a waiting list. As soon as we have a group match, we will contact you.

Step 4: Confirmation- You will receive a confirmation email once placement has been determined. We will provide you with a start date as well as the days and times group meets.
