MAPS is a Non Public Agency that offers Educationally Related Mental Health Services (ERMHS) and Educationally Related Behavior Services

School district services include: behavior intervention, counseling and guidance, and parent counseling and training. Our qualified staff is comprised of Licensed Marriage and Family Therapists and Board Certified Behavior Analysts.

The MAPS School Services Mission Statement
The MAPS staff will collaborate with school and community members to deliver a comprehensive developmental school counseling and behavior service programs that will provide a safe and supportive environment in which all students are encouraged to achieve their full academic, career, and social/emotional potential.

Counseling Goals
The MAPS school counselor will:

  • develop and implement a school counseling program based on the academic, career, and social/emotional needs of the students.
  • promote academic success and attainment of study skills.
  • assist students in developing an understanding and respect of self and others.
  • provide individual counseling to assist students.
  • uphold the standards and ethics of the school site.

Behavior Goals

The MAPS behavior analyst will:

  • the board certified behavior analyst will work directly with the teachers and school staff to develop positive behavior interventions and supports.
  • develop crisis plans
  • consult with teachers and staff on student behavior to enhance the overall functioning of their classroom
  • monitor the implementation of the behavior plan and collaborate with other providers
