“The most important thing MAPS has done for my son is to give him the tools to develop a strong relationship with his brother. They can now play cooperatively and independently. Sometimes I hear them sharing secrets. Of course, they fight, but they also look out for each other when we’re out in the world.  I’m grateful that they’ve been able to form a bond that will serve them for a lifetime.”

“Since 2009, two of our children have received therapy at MAPS in Folsom. This is a wonderful program. I would go so far as to say of all the various treatments our children have received since being diagnosed with Autistic Spectrum Disorders, this has been the most beneficial to them in terms of socialization. The format of the program, which emphasizes teaching children these skills in as natural a play environment as possible, makes sense and has been effective. The parent training classes have also been very helpful and informative. They are a good way to network and share ideas with other parents.”
