A strong and beautiful community has developed through the years made up of families of our expert and novice players. We celebrate throughout the year with events like Ice Cream Socials, Science Fairs, Cultural Fairs, and Spring Flings. This community, made up of the families whose children come to us for therapy and the families who generously support MAPS by donating their children’s time to act as peer models, has become a lovely thing to behold. Whatever the gifts and challenges a child or family face they share it with this community and are supported and honored.
