Clinical Supervisor Board Certified Behavior Analyst OR Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist

Position Overview

We are seeking a compassionate and experienced clinician to lead therapeutic services with professionalism and purpose. In this pivotal role, you will support the development of our clients and team through high-quality supervision, individualized behavior planning, and collaborative leadership.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive behavioral assessments and develop individualized behavior
    intervention plans (BIPs)
  • Oversee and adjust intervention plans based on data and client progress
  • Supervise and mentor Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) and Mid-Level Supervisors
  • Collaborate with families, educators, and other professionals to ensure consistency and effectiveness
  • Provide monthly supervisions, parent training, and team workshops
  • Maintain accurate documentation and ensure ethical compliance
  • Participate in administrative decisions, including hiring and retention input
  • Support program development and contribute to ongoing evaluation and innovation

Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in behavior analysis, psychology, education, or a related field
  • Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) or Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist (LMFT)
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in applied behavior analysis or related clinical work
  • Proficiency in data collection and analysis tools
  • Familiarity with Naturalistic Developmental Behavioral Interventions (NDBI) and Peer-Mediated Instruction (PMI)
  • Understanding of developmental play stages and Montessori-inspired approaches is a plus
  • Strong communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills
  • Valid CA Driver’s License, auto insurance, CPR/First Aid certification, TB test, fingerprint clearance, and proof of required immunizations

Job Summary

Montessori Autism Programs & Services, Inc. (MAPS) is currently looking for BT’s who love their work to assist children ages 2-17 with developmental delays, in our social and behavioral skills therapy programs. Our mission is to build a community that offers children a guided path to develop social skills and friendships, improve quality of life and support families so they may better contribute to and participate in the world.

MAPS offers an after-school, inclusion play program designed to include children of diverse cultures and abilities. In addition to this, MAPS provides ABA services to children and their families, conducted in a variety of settings (e.g. the children’s home, local community and on the MAPS campus). Our model is based upon Integrated Play Group (IPG) therapy, the Montessori philosophy and methods, such as Positive Behavior support, Applied Behavior Analysis, Positive Discipline and Social and Emotional Education. These methods and philosophies create an environment where children learn appropriate social skills in ways that are carefully designed to be enjoyable for the child. Job Description + Responsibilities

Implement individualized programs and behavior intervention strategies for children with developmental disabilities in a variety of settings. Record data, attend team meetings, and work closely with Behavior Consultant and Board Certified Behavior Analyst. Ability to adhere to all HIPAA requirements, verbal and written ability to communicate effectively with staff, family and community, ability to multi-task and prioritize assignments independently and effectively. Physical demands-run, stand, kneel, crawl, reach, push and lift 50 pounds. Willingness to commute, reliable transportation, current driver license and proof of insurance required.

Must be available either M-W-F, T-Th or M-F. Availability in the afternoon hours is preferred.

Minimum Education Required

High School Diploma

Preferred: Bachelor’s Degree (or in progress)

*Preferred Coursework/Experience *

Coursework in Psychology, Special Education, or A.B.A. Education or related services, ABA Therapy experience and/or knowledge working with ASD or other disabilities. RBT (Registered Behavior Technician) Certification preferred.
